Frequently Asked Questions - How do I buy tickets to Sweetwater shows in advance?
Advance tickets for all Sweetwater Music Hall shows are available at http://sweetwatermusichall.inticketing.com/events. We also sell advance tickets at the venue any evening (or day) we have a ticketed event. Please note that we reserve the right to ask customers there to purchase tickets to other events to wait for us to take care of everyone waiting to get into that day/night's event and we thank you in advance for your patience. Please note that there is a $1.00 per ticket service fee added to the price of all tickets sold at the venue.
- Can I buy tickets at the door?
If tickets are still available, they will go on sale at the door 1 hour before showtime on a first-come, first-served basis; ticket limits may apply. We accept cash and credit cards at the door for tickets. In an effort to be as green as possible, we do not issue paper tickets at the door; tickets purchased for anyone not present require a name to be put on the Will Call list. Please note that there is a $1.00 per ticket service fee added to the price of all tickets sold at the venue. - What are my options for receiving my tickets when I purchase them online?
Tickets purchased online may be held at Will Call, mailed, or printed at home by the customer. - What's the difference between Will Call, mail, and print at home?
Will Call: purchaser checks in at the venue, night of show (no paper tickets issued, greenest choice!!).
Mail: Hard tickets (aka, traditional paper tickets) are mailed to purchaser (good for collectors!!). Print at Home: PDF of tickets are e-mailed to customer for printing at their convenience (most flexible option for those on the go!!). - When do the doors open?
The doors typically open 1 hour before show time. Sometimes we have to hold doors for production needs; we will do our best to keep you informed and we appreciate your patience. - When does Will Call open?
Will Call opens 1 hour before show time. - What do I need to pick up my tickets at Will Call?
Please bring a photo ID, the credit card you used to purchase your tickets, and a copy of your order confirmation (or have access to your order confirmation on your phone) - What's the advantage to printing my own tickets at home?
Print at home tickets allow for the most flexibility if you need to get tickets to friends or want to print out your tickets at your convenience.
- What does General Admission mean?
General Admission events are primarily STANDING ROOM ONLY (unless otherwise noted). For some of these events there may be very limited seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. A seat is never guaranteed for a general admission show. - Some events have Standing--General Admission and Seated--General Admission tickets. What's the difference?
For these shows, there will be chairs set up on the floor directly in front of the stage. Guests with Seated--General Admission tickets will have access to those seats on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests with Standing--General Admission tickets will stand behind and around the seated area. - What is your policy regarding children?
Most shows are All Ages (no babes in arms) unless otherwise noted. Some shows are 21+ only; please be sure to check the ticketing page before you purchase your tickets if you or any member of your party is under 21! Every person entering the venue is required to have a ticket, regardless of age. - I bought tickets but now I can't make it to the show. Can I get a refund?
All ticket sales are final; refunds are given only if an event is canceled. - I bought tickets but now I can't make it to the show. Can my friend pick up my tickets at Will Call?
To have someone else pick up your tickets at Will Call, please provide that person with a copy of your photo ID along with a signed note authorizing that person to pick up your tickets. Please be sure that they also have your order confirmation number. - How do I sign up for Open Mic night?
Send an e-mail to openmic at swmh.com beginning at 3 p.m. on the Monday you want to perform. - Do you serve food?
Yes, and it's delicious! Our cafe is usually open until 10 p.m. or later on show nights. The café serves a variety of freshly prepared delicious seasonal menu items and includes both vegan and vegetarian options. Please visit http://sweetwatermusichall.com/cafe for more info, hours of operation, and sample menus. - Can I come have dinner at the café or a drink at the bar if I’m not going to the show that night?
This answer varies by event. Most nights, both the café and bar are open for regular business until an hour before show time (aka, when the doors open for the show); we will ask non-ticketed guests to exit at that time. (If tickets are available for purchase, you may opt to purchase a ticket and stay for the show.) Please note that on nights when production needs require a closed soundcheck, the seating space in the café is limited and once full, we may have to ask ticket holders to wait in line outside. On very rare occasions production needs may require that we close both the bar/venue area and café until doors open for the show; we will do our best to communicate when this is the case. - Where can I park?
There is ample street and city parking available around the venue. Please be sure to observe all posted signs regarding parking and parking meters and do not park in prohibited spaces or areas. - Are the café and venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the café, concert hall, and restrooms are all wheelchair accessible. - My band is awesome!! How can we play at Sweetwater Music Hall?
