Jonny Keigwin, a native Bay Area resident, is trained as a classical double bass player. Jonny graduated from the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music in 2002, Philadelphia. He has played with many local Symphonies in the bay area including the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Opera, Berkeley Orchestra, and Marin Symphony. Jonny began singing and writing his own music ten years ago, discovering a latent aptitude. He writes strange and irreverent songs, haunting ballads and whimsical tunes. The Jonny Keigwin Band include: Nathanael Hoehner (Bass), Matt Benedict-Montgomery (multi instrumental), and Ethan Turner (percussion). Ethan Turner has toured and performed with many bands including Jesse Colin Young, 20 Minute Loop, American Drag, Chrome Johnson, and the legendary band, Scrunt. |
