Jules' 75th Birthday Celebration!
A stalwart of the San Francisco music scene, Jules Broussard was born in Louisiana and began his career when he was only twelve years old, organizing bands and playing lead saxophone for audiences in and around his home town. Jules' career spans over four decades of shared studio and stage with such luminaries as Ray Charles, Boz Scaggs, Van Morrison, Carlos Santana, Earl Grant, Elvin Bishop, Art Garfunkel, and Doctor Hook, to name a few. Known as an eclectic alto and tenor player, Jules has been pleasing audiences for decades with a mix of jazz, blues, funk, R&B and rock 'n roll, with long, multi-year performing relationships with venues around the Bay Area. |
